Pump Skids
IES has considerable expertise and experience in the field of skid-mounted pumps. We can offer design and installation services to a wide variety of industries and applications.
Because we can call on a multi-disciplinary design and engineering team with an extensive range of experience, skills and qualifications, we are well-placed to discuss the unique demands of each application; whether the problem to be solved concerns the size or location of the pump requirement, the pumpage requirement, or the hazardous or corrosive nature of the liquid or gas.
We can design, supply and install bespoke skid-mounted pump packages for applications such as
- Drinking water
- Waste products
- Sumps
- Petrochemical products
- Food and beverage production
- Agrichemical
- Pharmaceuticals
and many others, both on land and offshore.
In every case, the design and installation will be the product of extensive consultation between IES and the client firm, ensuring that the product will be an exact fit with the needs of the business, and that installation can take place with a minimum of interruption to the production process.

Compliance and Safety
All our products meet the required industry standards for the jurisdictions in which they are employed. Our multidisciplinary teams can advise on suitable pumping solutions for hazardous and corrosive materials.
Self-Priming Pumps
IES can design and install skid-mounted self-priming pumps for a variety of applications such as sump-emptying, systems that can have trapped air, or the transfer of liquids from underground storage tanks; in fact any application in which the pump has to be located above the level of the liquid to be pumped.. We can install pumping systems that are capable of running dry for extended periods without damage, and can also engineer solutions to pump problems such as the possibility of freezing temperatures, or the presence of suspended solids.
ATEX compliance
A variety of industrial processes, such as chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, and the paint and coatings industry are likely need an ATEX pump, whether to transfer volatile materials or because of the risk of flammable materials in the atmosphere of the factory. In the UK, any location in which people are working and where gas, flammable vapours or dust might be found must also comply with DESEAR Regulations (The Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations 2002). IES design teams are familiar with these crucial regulations and can ensure compliance.
